You don’t always realize it right away.

There are the obvious changes, visible, measurable…
And then there are the others, more subtle, even insidious.

There are the direct, obvious, inevitable implications…
And then there are the others, unforeseen, even sneaky.

There are the problems we know, that we see, that we anticipate…
And then there are the others, which impose themselves suddenly, or which settle in slowly over time.

A little over a year ago, I began to move forward on the medical aspect of my transition with the use of female hormones. I am truly very happy with the results already achieved, but this path also reveals a multitude of small upheavals and implications that are not always measured in advance.

It forces you to look at yourself differently, to reassess your desires, your longings, to know yourself and understand yourself better — and ultimately, to better perceive the path that leads to happiness.

All of this takes time, energy, and occupies the mind…
And inevitably, it leads to sharing less, to putting projects aside. It is not always simple, but it is a necessary passage.

Today, after this first year of transition, things are finally much clearer for me, more stable. A new balance is slowly beginning to settle in.

I want to share all of this with you, the new adventures, the new outings, the new pleasures, the physical changes, the friends…
