Blog

It’s back to school season.

Of course, we’re all long past the age of going back to class (at least I hope so on this blog 😉), but September 1st still carries a special meaning.

It quietly marks the end of summer, the arrival of autumn, the return to work… even though summer technically lasts another three weeks, and many people — like me — didn’t really get any holidays in July or August.

The past few months have been quite eventful.
  • Personally, because a gender transition is never a simple or ordinary path to walk.
  • Professionally, because being self-employed means having no safety net and facing technical, economic and legislative changes on your own.

This summer, I’ve been working a lot — on my projects, but also on myself. It’s a kind of deeper, behind-the-scenes work that doesn’t show much yet, but it should start bearing fruit now.
Being yourself already feels like a relief, but it’s not enough. You also have to recognize your strengths, accept your weaknesses… and sometimes learn to work with them instead of wasting energy trying to erase them.

Every person, every life path is unique — and precious.
Our task is to make something out of it that brings us happiness.

See you soon?
